It's hard to believe Jaden is already 5! How time flies! He had a great birthday party with a huge water slide. Everyone had a great time. Repardy!

Everyone's heard of Jeopardy, but I made my own version for my sellers called Repardy! We'll be playing in the sales meeting tomorrow, and they are all pumped up about it. I got Lottery cards, a Saks card, a Panera Bread card, Toys R Us cards, Target cards, and more. If they get the answers right, they win gift cards. They have been trying to sneak a peek at the questions and try to find my answer key all day. Too funny! Here are some pictures of the small conference room wall with it all set up. I can't wait for them to play tomorrow! No matter what, they will learn something new in a fun way. :)

Carson's 3rd Haircut

Since Gillard's still in Belize, we had to get Carson a haircut at an actual haircut salon, and not Salon Gillard ala the swing. Ha! Carson didn't like it at first, but once Sesame Street and a lollipop entered the scene, he was fine. He has a nice new short summer "do". He looks precious and so grown up! My baby boy isn't a baby anymore! :(

Chi Omega Reunion Dinner at Collina's

A bunch of us Chi Omega's got together last Tuesday night. Fun was had by all, and Emily had a big announcement - she's pregnant with #2! Congratulations Em!!! Here are a few pics from the evening...we had a great time catching up.

Chi Omega Photo Moment!

Double ear infections and...more SHOE action!

Last Sunday night Carson was really fussy, and seemed to be just "not himself". I took his temperature, and sure enough...100.3. I immediately wrote my boss and told him I would have to take a sick day Monday because Chad had a wine maker in. Luckily, he's got 5 kids, so he gets it.

Carson and I got up early Monday morning and I called Dr. Wolens' office as soon as they opened at 8:30. I got him a 10am appointment, and off we went. After visiting with the P.A. for just a few seconds, she proclaimed that both of his ears were infected. Poor guy! I wish he could tell me what was hurting so I could have fixed it sooner!

Anyway, off went to the pharmacy to get his medicine. I gave him a double dose of antibiotics that day, and he was already better Tuesday morning. While we were hanging out on Monday, Carson decided he wanted to put my shoes on. He played with my black wedges for a good 30 minutes trying to get them on his feet. Finally he had success and I snapped a photo. He was so proud of himself.

Well, everyone who knows me knows I LOVE shoes. Chad also loves shoes. So much in fact, that when Hurricane Ike came blowing through, he packed every pair of shoes he had in our car to protect them. Even I didn't do that with mine. Point being, we love our shoes.

It looks as though Carson is going to have the shoe thing going as well. This morning, he pulled out a bunch of my shoes and started carrying them around and playing with them. He kept saying, "MaMa shoe" as he was lining them up. We cracked up...check it out!

Too funny! I'm telling you...it made our morning! We have been laughing for a good 15 minutes about it. Love to all!

Belize Trip

We returned from Belize a week ago today. We had a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful, and the time with family was fun. Carson really enjoyed spending time with Jaden, Kinlee, and Olivia. The kids are growing like weeds, and it's great that they are all so close in age.

We ate some great food, experienced some new things, and all in all Carson was really well behaved. He had a few meltdowns, but overall we were impressed. He's such a good boy, and just rolls with the punches.
