I am getting so big. Mommy tells me that all the time. I love my stacking ring toys, my cow truck, and anything that makes noise. Here's a video of me from tonight playing with my favorite toys.

I FINALLY had a moment to sit down this evening and download some pictures. We have been very busy - Carson's been sick, Judy was out of town, etc etc.

Rather than try to update everyone on what's been going on lately...I'll just post some new pictures, and hopefully a video or two in the next few nights.

Carson is growing like a weed! He's up on his hands and knees rocking back and forth all the time. It won't be long now! He's also eating meat now too - growin' boys need their protein! Ha!

Carson's First Swim

Chad really wanted to take Carson for his first swim for Father's Day today. So, of course, we did! It's Daddy's day after all!

He did really well. He grunted when he first got in the water (we think because it was a little chilly), but then started splashing around immediately. He rode the little dolphin toy around the pool as Chad pushed him, laughed while sitting on the top stair, and finally cracked up when either one of us would swim under water and then pop up to surprise him.

I tell you...every single day is a new adventure with him! We love every minute of it!

Check out Carson's LSU socks....these were a gift from John Breland. They are probably for a two year old, but Carson has huge feet so they fit perfectly! John wanted him to wear them tonight for good luck for the Tigers!

Wine Week In The Woodlands

A blast was had by all! Kristin, one of my favorite clients, arrived on Saturday early afternoon. We had lunch with the girls at Tommy Bahama's in the Woodlands. Unfortunately, sometime during lunch, Carol's ID, bank card, and credit card were stolen from her wallet. It was awful. They ran up $4,000 in just 35 minutes! Carol filed a police report, called her credit cards, and did everything she needed to to be sure she was not liable for the money spent. It was nuts!

Luckily, Carol's not one to stay down for long! She rallied and we all had a great time! Here are a few pictures of us from the evening.

New Carson Pictures

Carson is now in his new school, Kids R Kids. He absolutely loves it! He didn't even cry when we dropped him off the first day. They have web cams in the room, so I can watch him anytime I want. It's really nice, and soooo much better than Kompany Kids.

Carson loves to laugh and play. He's getting so big! He's close to crawling. For now, he's doing the army crawl to get to toys, or rolling to them. He can stand on his own while holding onto something.

He's enjoying all of the veggies and fruits he's tried so far. Pretty soon, we'll be able to grind up hamburger meat and chicken so he can try it.

He still has no teeth. He's drooling all the time, and is constantly chewing on something. I feel sorry for him. Let's hope they come in soon!

Emergency Room

When we got home from NOWFE, Carson seemed a little hot. Sunday night he went to bed really early, but woke up in the middle of the night burning up. I noticed a little rash when I gave him a bath, but I chalked it up to heat rash. On Memorial Day he just got worse and worse. The fever wouldn't come down, even with medicine, and the rash spread over his entire body. So, we ended up at the ER per the Texas Children's nurse. They ended up giving him a double dose of Tylenol and that brought it down slightly. However, it made him really hyper. He wouldn't stop babbling, laughing, and smiling. You would have never thought he was sick by the looks of this picture.

We ended up getting a shot of antibiotics, an xray, and some blood work. Turned out to be a virus. We went to see Dr. Wolens first thing Tuesday morning. He told us it might be roseola. It took over a week for it to go away, but finally...it's gone. He's doing much better - yay!
