Rodeo Cookoff 2010

Yep! It's that time again...rodeo cookoff! It's hard to believe it's already here! I went tonight trying to be a trooper, but after 5 minutes of heart-pounding bass, I had to call it quits. I started having really bad Braxton Hicks, so Jim was nice enough to talk someone into driving me to the front gate. I still had to walk quite a long ways, but I got to my car and was home by 8:30pm. I finally feel better two hours later. I put my feet up and rested. The Braxton Hicks aren't coming as frequently now, so that's good. Here are two pics I managed to snap before I left.

26 Weeks, 5 Days

Here are a few pictures of me at 26 Weeks, 5 Days...I'm really getting big!

A big congratulations to Cherolyn and Troy! They are 10 Weeks, 5 Days pregnant and we are just thrilled for them! We can't wait to find out what they're having!!! THINK PINK CHER!!! We need some girls around here!!! Congratulations and we love you!

Happy Valentine's Day!

My boys got me some really nice cards and we all went to Roadhouse for lunch. We also went to the park since it was such a pretty day - finally some sunshine! Here are some pictures from today.

AWRT Gala 2010

The AWRT (American Women In Radio and Television) Gala was okay, but we had more fun discussing everything and everyone afterward at The Remington. Here are some pictures of the crew!

Playtime Fun

Cold weather brings hours and hours of inside entertainment. So, what did we do? Carson decided he needed to wear some of my headbands. He's been cracking up about it all day. He even showed them off to MiMi and PawPaw when they came over this afternoon. Thanks again for the soup Mom and Dad - it was DELICIOUS! Also - the strawberries are gone already - YUM!

Valentine's Day Cookies

Carson and I decided to make Valentine's Day cookies Wednesday night while Daddy was at a dinner. We had a blast! Of course, the Pillsbury packaging was a little misleading with its claim of "Easy To Decorate!" cookies. I tried and tried to get the icing right in the letters of the cookies, but it didn't work. So, I ended up just putting the icing in a big blob in the center. They were still yummy! (as you can see from the first picture below) Ha!

Week 25 Picture

Well, here I am at 25 weeks...we had the AWRT Gala this week, and I had Jim snap a belly pic of me while we were there. I'm feeling good, and have gained 9 pounds so far. Dr. Putterman said I am measuring spot on and Cade's heart rate was 142 when I went in last Wednesday.

Just for grins, here's a pic of me with Carson at 25 weeks...I look about the same, at least I think. I weigh the same and I am measuring the same - let's hope I lose the weight the same this time!
