Congratulations Mike and Jen!

Our good friends, Mike and Jen Paterson, had their twin boys last night! They are both doing well, as are Mommy and Daddy. Derek was 5lbs, 13oz and Spencer was 4lbs, 13oz. Spencer is in the intermediate nursery until he gains 3oz, but he's doing just fine. They should all be able to go home by Sunday.

A Bad Ear Infection...

Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy had to take me to the doctor this past Monday. I was running a fever and feeling really crummy. I had a runny nose, cough, and my eyes were all puffy. What was it? Mommy guessed it...an ear infection...this time in my left ear and it was pretty bad. I'm on antibiotics again, and I am already feeling lots better.

I am a big boy - I weighed 23lbs at the doctor! I eat three square meals a day. I love chopped up banana and milk for breakfast. For lunch, I eat a meat, a veggie, a fruit, and a bottle. I have a snack of some Cheerios or Puffs in the afternoon with some milk. For dinner, I have another meat, veggie, fruit, and more milk. Just before I go night-night I have another bottle. I love to eat - pretty much anything!

I am moving to the next classroom at school next week. I think it's going to be a tough transition. I visited the new room today and I didn't like it. I miss my teachers so much! I have a few friends in the new class that were in my old one, so I hope they will help me adjust quickly.

Mommy took some pictures of me this week playing. I love my toys, especially my new trucks and my baseball game.

A Child's Laughter

A child's laughter is the sweetest thing. It just makes you smile, inside and out. It's contagious.

Tonight, Carson and I went and got the mail. We do this a lot together. He likes opening and closing the mailbox. Anyway, we happened to have quite a bit of junk mail today. I dropped it on the floor to go through, and that's when it happened....the extreme bout of laughter. He just kept laughing and laughing and laughing. Everything he touched, every noise I made, it was all hilarious.

I'm Getting So Big!

Mommy and Daddy are always telling me how big I'm getting. I had a busy day today - I went to Babies R Us and Target with Mommy and Daddy to get me stuff. They said they didn't know how in the world they spent so much money in so little time. I know - it's all for me!

This was the night Mommy got back from Mexico - I was so excited to see her!

This is this morning - I stayed in my pj's until just before lunch. I love this new spin the letter game that Mommy bought me....

This game really is cool. Also, that monkey to the right is really neat. I push it and I can chase it around the room.

Hmmm...so much to play with, so little time....

Time For A New Carseat!

Carson has gotten so big - he's over 27 inches tall and weighs over 22lbs! So, lugging him in the Chicco carrier is just not an option anymore. I have bruises all over my forearms from carrying him in the seat. It was time to move on up, so we bought a Britax Boulevard today. Here's what his new seat looks like. We're going to put it in the Tahoe tomorrow. Chad will use the Chicco in his car for the time being. Cher and Troy might get a new Britax, and if they do we'll get their old one for Chad's car.

Babyproofing

Well, now that Carson is crawling and cruising, we have to babyproof. We got some cabinet door locks, outlet covers, a padded bumper for the fireplace, and a gate for the top of the staircase. Here's some pics of our newly Carson-proof home. Ha!

Mexico Trip

COX Radio had an incentive trip contest in Q4 of 2007. Luckily, I had a bunch of points on the board before I left to have Carson. I ended up winning one of the trips to Mexico. I was really excited!

Those of us that won a trip talked and we decided taking our trip together would be fun. It was! We all took a girlfriend, so it ended up being 8 of us. We went to Cozumel and it was beautiful.
