Katie's Wedding Shower

Congratulations to Katie and Will! They have set the date of November 12th for their wedding! We can't wait! I threw Katie a small family shower this past weekend. We had a great time and Katie got lots of goodies. I am so happy for her and Will. They will make a beautiful married couple! Here are some pictures from the shower, with hopefully one of me, Mom, and Katie to follow from Dad's camera.
This is my favorite picture from the entire day...Katie with the meat mallet...
"Boont?" "No, bUnt." "Boont?" "No, BUNT." My Big Fat Greek Wedding. We had a good laugh out of that one....
Katie excited about the mixer Mom and I got her....
Very excited about the Star Wars cookie cutters we found too....
Pretty towels.....
A bird's eye view of the ladies visiting....
The gorgeous arrangements from Lexis....
Texas shaped cheese...couldn't pass this up...no one cut it because they didn't want to mess it up...
The petit fours turned out great...and delicious!

The spread....the island worked out perfectly for serving....

Congratulations Katie and Will! We love you!

Skylar Michelle Johnson

My little "niece" Skylar has arrived! Cherolyn had a very easy, beautiful delivery last Tuesday. Skylar was born at 5:14pm, was 19.75 inches long, and weighed 7lbs, 9oz. She is such a cutie, and I can't wait to see her again! Cade and I stopped by last week to visit on our way home from Dr. Wolens. She was busy nursing and didn't have a chance for a photo opp. However, here are a few from her arrival....

Me, Cherolyn, and Skylar just moments after her arrival...Cher had been on the phone with Wyatt and he kept telling her he loved her...it was so sweet Cher got choked up....

Skylar's little foot prints....

Cher talking to Wyatt holding Skylar....

Ahhhhhh........this light is so warm.......

Sweet baby girl with Mommy....

Proud Daddy...so excited to have a girl!
Congratulations Cherolyn, Troy, and Wyatt! We love you guys!

Happy 4 Months Cade!

Yes, 4 months already! In fact, 4 months last week! We visited Dr. Wolens this week, and here are Cade's stats:

Height - 25.5 inches - 67%ile
Weight - 15lbs, 5oz - 55%ile
Head - 42cm - 40%ile
He's a healthy boy who continues to be advanced - yay! Cade can roll over from both tummy to back and back to tummy. We are very proud of him. He can also sit up in the bumbo chair, move around in the walker, and play in the exersaucer. It's amazing how quickly time is passing...it seems like just yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. He is such a happy boy; always smiling and laughing. We are very lucky to have two sweet, happy boys! Oh! And especially lucky to have two sleepers!!!
Everyone jokes about my breast milk having ice cream in it. He's still getting between 18 and 24oz of my milk each day, and the other 6-12oz is formula. We tried cereal for the first time tonight and he LOVED it! It was too cute.
Here are a few pictures of our little chunky monkey...he's really growing!
Yuuuuuummmmmmmmmm......my first cereal!
Carson is such a ham...I'm just checking out my new exersaucer....
Ha ha! I love this thing!
Stop looking at me penguin! (Ha ha, Billy Madison joke) He's too short, so we had to put a book under him so he could stand....
Cheese! I'm 4 months old!

Some Work Stuff...

Today we took a cruise out to Redfish "Island" with Dean & Rog on the air. It was a blast and the guys did a great job. Here's a picture of some of the Cox gang that went today.
And yesterday, four of us girls made a huge presentation to Red Wing Shoes. We all wore black dresses with red wings - they loved it! Our presentation went exceptionally well, and one hour after our pitch we got the call...we got 100% of their budget for October! We are really excited and look forward to a long partnership with Red Wing Shoes. Here's me, Sheryl, Crissy, Christine, and 3 stores owners just after our presentation. Ha!

Cade's First "Professional" Photo Shoot

Cade did a great job for his first photos! He was smiling and laughing the entire time. Unfortunately, we had a brand new photographer, so she wasn't the best at catching him in the right moment. However, they are still very cute and I bought a ton! Ha! Here are a few from the session. We also took some of Carson. Enjoy!
My sweet boys!
My big boy...
Big boy being silly...

Ha ha - I am a ham!

Already winking at the ladies...

Aw! Sweet baby boy! Just look at that face!

Waaaazzz up?

Not so sure about this pose...

Rubber ducky you're the one...you make bathtime so much fun....

Cade Laughing

Cade loves to laugh! I caught him laughing on video...here is one for your viewing pleasure. If this doesn't make you smile, you're nuts!
