Carson's 3rd Birthday

Carson had a great 3rd birthday until he broke his clavicle on his new tractor pictured below. He was a trooper though...he kept on playing and riding. We finally took him to the ER that night and they did not know what was wrong with his shoulder. They scared the heck out of us, we called Dr. Wolens, and within a few seconds we felt better. He's so great at calming us down and giving us a sense of security. We can't say enough great things about him. Anyway, Carson had a blast on the train we had at the party. It was a trackless train and all of the kids loved it. We had it for an hour and Carson never got off of it. Here are some pictures from the day. My Dad has more that I will post later.
The new tractor...Carson climbed into the back trailer (where Cade is), and fell off onto the cement at just the right angle. He cried and cried and I told Chad something was very wrong. Eventually, he couldn't even open gifts it hurt so bad. Poor guy! But, he was a trooper! All of the pictures below are him with a hairline fracture which we would learn about later from Dr. Epps, a wonderful children's orthopedist who we learned about from Dr. Wolens.

Oooooh...cupcakes! These were a big hit, especially with the birthday boy's special train cupcake.

All aboard!

Here's the train...everyone loved it!

The cupcake spread...I will probably do this every year now....
I can't believe our little boy is 3 already!!! TIME FLIES WHEN YOU ARE A PARENT!
