Thanksgiving 2010

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. Of course, Chad The Chef insisited upon cooking something other than turkey. He made all kinds of shrimp, gumbo from scratch, and homemade chicken nuggets for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the food and company. We played kickball in the backyard for a while and had a blast.

We got the kids their own personalized sleeping bag so they could all sleep in the gameroom together....they had a great time! The room was a disaster, and everyone but Olivia stayed up there and slept until 8am Friday.

Me, Kim, and Kelly in line at Toys R Us Thanksgiving night...we were crazy. We went there at 10pm and stood in a line that wrapped all the way around the store. We finally got in, grabbed what we wanted, and then realized the line was over an hour long. We literally dropped everything and hit the road.

Friday morning, Kelly and I ventured back out and got everything we had picked out the night prior. It was all still on sale and we were thrilled. We had a blast shopping together. I even got a Wii for the gameroom so we have all been playing ever since. Even the kids enjoyed it!
